SPECIALTY SERVICES

Developmental Concerns

Don’t wonder and worry! We're here for you. Gross motor, fine motor, and speech concerns from birth to two years old are important to tackle as soon as possible. We can provide tips and customized programs for your child to address your concerns. Children are sponges at this age. Let's get to it!

General Screenings

We can conduct general screenings that look broadly across all developmental areas, including social, emotional, fine motor, gross motor, and speech development. From there, we can assist in giving child-specific recommendations and/or referrals for appropriate care as needed.

Purposeful Play

Learn how to incorporate play into your daily routines that will help strengthen your baby while increasing social, emotional, and motor skills. Each parent-child relationship is unique. We work with you to build these relationships while acquiring helpful skills!

Parent Education & Support

We are here to guide you through all of your questions and concerns. During the first two years of life, children change quickly. We can be here to prepare you prior to baby's arrival, for monthly visits to support your child’s new development at every stage, or on an as-needed basis should new questions come up.

Flat Head & Torticollis

In some cases, these issues can be prevented in the first place. However, if you spot any concerns, it is best to address right away in order to avoid worsening of head shape, increased child resistance to intervention, and ultimately requiring a reshaping helmet.

THE DYNAMIC DUo

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University. I went on to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with a focus on pediatrics. I’ve worked in NICU, inpatient, and outpatient pediatric settings. I passed The National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy (PCS).

I’m a mom to Jordan (3), Skye (2), and Brooke (1). While spending time raising my young children, I also enjoy helping others and building strong, long-lasting connections with families. My passion is helping babies and young toddlers achieve developmental milestones and witnessing their parents' delight with every accomplishment.

I enjoy working out, cooking, baking, binge watching TV shows and documentaries, going to the movies, and going to comedy shows.

Claire Weidle, PT, DPT

I graduated from OU with a Bachelor’s in Health Science. I then obtained my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from CMU. Since the age of 12, I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist, but it wasn’t until I started working with children in undergrad that I knew pediatrics has my heart. I initially worked in a hospital-based outpatient pediatric setting. I now work for a local school district doing therapy in the schools and home-based parent education for early intervention.

Working with babies and their caregivers in the home is my absolute favorite. Not only do I get to experience growth of the child’s skills, but also of the caregiver/baby relationship. I am passionate about increasing positive attachment and parent confidence.

When I am not working, I enjoy adventuring with my dog (Alfie), being a foodie, and keeping up with the latest shows.

RAVING REVIEWS

"I have twins with Cerebral Palsy. Pat and Claire were some of the first physical therapists to see them. They are professional yet kind and personable. They made PT so fun, but got the work done. They cheered on my kids and me as their mom. Their knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm shined during each session. My twins blossomed during the time we worked with them. I cannot say enough good things about our wonderful PT experience working with them! I highly recommend!"

""Our youngest son had the pleasure of working with Pat. He was diagnosed with torticollis at only a few months old and needed physical therapy. Pat was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and very caring towards him. We loved our sessions with Pat and had such a great bond with her that we still keep in contact with her today!"

Kelly D.

“Our baby girl was born at 29 weeks and in the NICU for two months at the start of her life. Claire was there for us from the first month we came home with her and was a godsend for such a nervous mom like myself. She was able to guide us through every question and concern I had from physical development to feeding to learning how to help my daughter start speaking. Claire is truly a huge reason why my daughter is thriving today and I could not recommend her calming energy enough!”

Susan P.

”Pat was able to motivate my child to do PT exercises even though they were physically challenging for him. She bonded with my child right away and made the exercises fun. We looked forward to seeing her each week!”

Fleur Z.

"I had mentioned to Pat that my baby does not respond to her name 100% of the time at 15 months old. After evaluating, Pat immediately suggested that she may need a hearing test. I was referred to a hearing specialist where we found out that she needs ear tubes due to repeat ear infections. With her improved hearing, we can now focus on developing her speech. Pat's advice helped me come up with a plan to help my daughter and I am thankful for that!"

Kristine H.

"“Claire came into our home and was able to make my son and I both very comfortable right off the bat. She has a unique ability to teach me how to help my son but without it seeming burdensome. With her help and skills, we were able to get my son from army crawling to crawling on his hands and knees to now a strong independent walker. I love the knowledge I gained and learning the progression of how the development of skills happen.”
